| Day 1 | Depart USA | U.S. to Madrid. Board our overnight transatlantic flight to Madrid (if air and land are booked). If Land Only is booked - tour begins on Day 02. |
| Day 2 | Madrid | Madrid. Morning arrival in Madrid airport, where you will be transferred to your four star hotel, Hotel Coloso. You are free to relax for the remainder of the day. In the afternoon, you may want to venture out to enjoy the capital city of Spain. Don't forget to sample genuine "Tapas" at one of the many typical taverns in the city. |
| Day 3 | Madrid | Madrid. This morning enjoy a unique view of Madrid aboard a double-decker bus. This hop on-hop off tour offers you the flexibility to visit the historical sites and monuments of Madrid at your own pace. Madrid is characterized by intense cultural and artistic activity and a very lively nightlife. Enjoy all this fantastic European city has tooffer. |
| Day 4 | Madrid | Madrid. Today can be spent visiting one of Spain's three internationally recognized museums. In the Spanish capital, the Prado Museum, Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and the Reina Sofia National Museum give you a chance to explore the history of universal painting through the works of the great masters. Located very close to one another, these three galleries offer a truly unique cultural itinerary. Optional touring can also be arranged to El Escorial, Valley of the Fallen, or Toledo. |
| Day 5 | Barcelona | Madrid - Barcelona. Independent transfer to the rail station, where you will board the Altaria train for Barcelona. Upon arrival, independent transfer to your hotel, Hotel Cristal Palace. Remainder of the day is free for you to enjoy the beauty and charm of Barcelona. The capital of Catalonia is unequivocally a Mediterranean city, not only because of Barcelona's geographic location but also because of its history, tradition and cultural influences. It's history dates back to the founding of a Roman colony on its soil in the second century B.C. Modern Barcelona experienced spectacular growth and economic revival at the onset of industrialization during the second half of the 19th century. Culture and the arts flourished in Barcelona and in all of Catalonia; the splendor achieved by Catalonian modernism is one of the most patent displays. |
| Day 6 | Barcelona | Barcelona. Spend the day at leisure in Barcelona. Get a unique view aboard a double-decker bus tour, which offers three tour routes and allows you to hop on and hop off as many times as you like. This open-top double-decker will provide a bird's eye view of many of Barcelona's important highlights, including Casa Batillo and Sagrada Familia. |
| Day 7 | Barcelona | Barcelona Enjoy a free day to explore this lovely seaside city. |
| Day 8 | Return USA | Barcelona - U.S. After breakfast, it is time to bid farewell as you are transferred to the airport for your homeward bound flight to the U.S., arriving the same day. |
